Introducing Abeuda

We supported Abeuda from 2011 until 2016. In 2016 the Government of India decided not to allow this kind of support. Despite negotiations they remained firm in their decision. We are not allowed to support Abeuda any longer. We continue to pray for him and his development.

Meet Abeuda Darlong. Abeuda was born on 21st October 2005.

He lives under the care of his parents. His home duties include making beds, taking care of the animals, carrying water and buying or selling in the market. There are 3 children in the family. His father is at times employed and his mother looks after the home.

For fun Abeuda likes playing football, bicycling, walking, swimming and running. He attends Sunday School and Church, Bible class and Vacation Bible School regularly. He attends school where his performance is Average.

The love and support that we at Montpelier provide helps him to receive the assistance he needs to grow and develop.

Abeuda is sponsored by Montpelier Church through Compassion.

Abeuda lives in Darchawi, 1500 km southeast of Patna/150 km northeast of Agartala, India. He lives in a hillside community of Darchawi, home to approximately 3000 residents. Our sponsorship allows the staff of Darchawi Child Development Centre to provide your sponsored child with Bible teaching, health checkups, vaccinations, outdoor games, hygeine education, picnics, special celebrations, community service opportunities and educational materials. The centre staff will also provide health and hygeine education for Abeuda's parents.
