Introducing Estivenson

Meet Estivenson

He was born on 2 December 2010

Both his mother and father are unemployed. He is their only child.

We support Estivenson through Compassion UK an organisation that encourages the support of education and other needs of children throughout the world.

Estivenson lives in Haiti on the plains of Bellevue, home to approximately 6,000 residents. Typical houses are constructed of cement and have corrugated iron roofs. The primary ethnic group and language is Creole.

The regional diet consists of maize, beans, bananas, chicken, bread, rice, potatoes, and goat. Most adults in Bellevue are unemployed but some work on plantations and earn the equivalent of £10 per month.

This community needs vocational schools and employment opportunities.

The staff of L'Azile Child Development Centre provide Estivenson with Bible teaching, medical treatment, health and hygene education, recreational facilities, social events, academic support and scholastic materials. The staff also provide meetings, educational workshops and opportunities for project involvement for Estivenson's parents.
